Filippo Sorcinelli stands out as an exceptional Italian artist. Since the age of 13, he has played the role of organist in the cathedrals of Fano, Rimini, and San Benedetto del Tronto. Subsequently, he studied at the Pontifical Institute of Sacred Music and participated in prestigious music festivals in Italy.

In 2001, he merged art and religion by founding a haute couture workshop for the ecclesiastical clergy, with notable clients such as Popes Benedict XVI and Francis. In 2013, he co-founded "UNUM", a collection of five perfumes inspired by Gothic architecture. These perfumes, based on precious incenses and mythical roses, seek to recreate the timeless religious spirit of the Vatican.

"It's about raw materials and material research" is Filippo Sorcinelli's motto.

His oldest olfactory memory dates back to the smell of incense grains he ground as an altar boy and the scent of cut wood in his father's workshop.

Sorcinelli is a multifaceted artist who works in various art forms, including music and photography. He chose to venture into perfumery because, like music, he considers perfume to be an artistic medium that doesn't require figurative references.

The organ has always fascinated Sorcinelli. He remembers fainting once when he was five years old while listening to one. Although he still appreciates classical music, he is particularly drawn to improvisation.

His two most recent creations, "Ennui-noir" and "Symphonie-passion," are artistic expressions that reflect his experiences and emotions. "Ennui-noir" explores the fertile fullness of boredom, while "Symphonie-passion" evokes memories of music and spirituality.

And as his first and most famous perfume, LAVS is an aromatic and ambery perfume extract designed for both men and women. Inspired by the essence of Gothic architecture, this fragrance captures the essence of incense and mythical roses to evoke the religious spirit of the Vatican. LAVS represents Sorcinelli's artistic vision, combining historical and religious elements with a contemporary and high-quality aesthetic.
