ANGLAIS evokes the harshness of the British Isles, its climate, and its weather. Lavender, the main note of the perfume, is one of the few plants cultivated in the British Isles that is used in perfumery. The rough, windy, rainy climate, the moss-covered stone houses, and the herbal lavender scent create a memory-evoking image that brings to mind the fragrance of ANGLAIS.

The perfume has a warm, herbal-fresh, dry, woody, and rough character, with notes of spices, tobacco, and coumarin.
